PRESS RELEASE
On the recommendations of the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB), the Commerce & Industry Minister Shri Murasoli Maran has approved 50 proposals of Foreign Direct Investment amounting to around Rs. 79.00 Crore. The major investment proposals pertain to cargo handling business, chemicals and petro-chemical, vegetable oil & protein concentrates, leather care products, engineering accessories and IT related services. A list of proposals cleared is enclosed.
