PRESS RELEASE
On the recommendations of the Foreign Investment Promotion Board(FIPB), the Commerce & Industry Minister Shri Murasoli Maran has approved 35 Cases of Foreign Direct Investment of about Rs. 196.00 Crore. The proposals cover various sectors like drugs, petro-chemicals, agriculture, bio-technology, education, machinery, automobiles, software development, internet related services, petroleum & natural gas, surface transport, consumer goods, and advisory & asset management services. A list of proposals cleared is enclosed.
