PRESS RELEASE
On the recommendations of the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB), the Commerce & Industry Minister Shri Murasoli Maran has approved 28 cases of Foreign Direct Investment of about Rs. 1306.00 crore. The proposals cover various sectors like agro-chemicals & acqua-culture, computer software development and maintenance, power, ISP services, telecommunications, tourism, light & heavy engineering, management and engineering consultancy. A list of proposals cleared is enclosed.
