PRESS RELEASE
On the recommendations of the Foreign Investment Promotion Board(FIPB), the Commerce & Industry Minister Shri Murasoli Maran has approved 25 proposals of Foreign Direct Investment amounting to around Rs.506.00 crore. The major investment proposals pertain to sectors such as chemicals & petro-chemicals, infrastructure, textiles, consumer industry, manufacture of heavy machinery, cash & carry wholesale trading, software development & IT enabled services and NBFC activities. A list of proposals cleared is enclosed.
