PRESS RELEASE
On the recommendations of the Foreign Investment Promotion Board(FIPB), the Commerce & Industry Minister Shri Murasoli Maran has approved 30 proposals of Foreign Direct Investment amounting to around Rs.212.00 crore. The major investment proposals pertain to sectors such as infrastructure development, textiles, providing services to farmers through franchise network, consumer goods, heavy machinery, operating TV news channel, software development & IT enabled services. A list of proposals cleared is enclosed.
