PRESS RELEASE
On the recommendations of the Foreign Investment Promotion Board(FIPB), the Commerce & Industry Minister Shri Murasoli Maran has approved 40 proposals of Foreign Direct Investment amounting to around Rs.76.00 crore. The major investment proposals pertain to sectors such as chemicals & petro-chemicals, health, software development & information technology services, and manufacture of electrical and automotive components. A list of proposals cleared is enclosed.
