PRESS RELEASE

On the recommendations of the Foreign Investment Promotion Board(FIPB), the Commerce & Industry Minister Shri Murasoli Maran has approved 33 proposals of Foreign Direct Investment of about Rs. 362.00 Crore. The proposals cover various sectors including manufacture of chemicals, textile processing, laminated flooring material and accessories, processed food, automobile components, scientific equipment, electronics information technology &ISP, software development and consultancy, telecommunications and data systems. A list of proposals cleared is enclosed.
