| PRESS RELEASE On the recommendations of the Foreign Investment Promotion Board(FIPB), the Commerce & Industry Minister Shri Murasoli Maran has approved 76 Cases of Foreign Direct Investment of about Rs. 2416.00 Crore. The proposals cover various sectors like Power, banking, consultancy, automobiles, Computer software development, telecommunications, Textiles, consumer goods, nutritional food and personal care products, LPG Terminals and bottling plants, ISP, financial advisory services and NBFC activities. A list of proposals cleared is enclosed.
