PRESS RELEASE
On the recommendations of the Foreign Investment Promotion Board(FIPB), the Commerce & Industry Minister, Shri Murasoli Maran has approved 33 proposals of Foreign Direct Investment amounting to around Rs. 372.00 crore and recommended the proposal of M/s. Sterling Infotech Ltd for issue of ADRs/GDRs amounting to Rs.2350.00 crore for consideration and approval of CCEA. The major investment proposals pertain to Sectors such as Information Technology, chemicals, Engineering, Telecommunications, NBFC activities, automobiles, and Power generation. A list of proposals cleared is enclosed.
