PRESS RELEASE
On the recommendations of the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB), the Commerce & Industry Minister Shri Murasoli Maran has approved 34 proposals of Foreign Direct Investment of about Rs. 713.00 Crore. The proposals cover various sectors including chemicals, consumer & confectionery items, food & beverages, Telecommunications, Software development, international air cargo transportation, Textiles and electrical & engineering components. A list of proposals cleared is enclosed.
