Subject:- Revision of Form for Carry-on-Business Licence.

 At present applications for grant of Carry-on-Business (COB) licence under the provisions of the Industries(Development & Regulation) Act, 1951 are to be submitted in Form ‘EE’ with the Secretariat for Industrial Assistance in Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Udyog Bhavan, New Delhi. Following an exercise to simplify this Form and make it convenient for the entrepreneurs applying for grant of Carry-on-Business licence it has been decided that, henceforth, all applications for grant of COB licence will be accepted by the SIA in the revised format as given in the annexure to this Press Note.
